Step house shows us a renovation project starting from a large living space that needed personality and to be brought up to date.

It takes its iconic name from the characteristic step that divided the home into two different levels, a distinctive element whose name is now kept, while removing the danger it posed and integrating it properly into the overall design.

In line with the client’s preferences, the proposal required as little building work as possible, keeping the arrangement of the rooms for their current use and centring on an open-plan space where the kitchen and dining room form the heart of the home, combining white tones and wood finishes that evoke a rustic home in the city centre.
